For once we were not distracted by pretty videos of cloudforests but managed to do some serious booking and emailing when we met last night after work. Suddenly it all seems very real. Funny how it creeps up on you like that after months of talking about it!

So four weeks today and we`ll be on our way to another BookBus adventure - this time just the two of us - a Sue and a Susan - and this time to Ecuador.
Flights are booked (and paid for!), the necessary jabs endured (not so many this time thanks to having a whole lot last year) and the malaria tablets on order.
Another car boot to raise some money went very well (would you buy anything off these two?)
... with yet again very generous contributions of chattels and goods from friends and colleagues. All that remains is to pack the mosquito net and meanwhile here`s some info:
